I was fortunate enough to enjoy an Inspection of Celebrity Solstice in Adelaide today. First impression as we stepped on board, was understated 5 star. From the Atrium to the Aromatic Showers and Spa areas, the pools to the Restaurants and yes the children are catered for as well. The style throughout was all class, and many times I just wanted to sink into a comfy chair or pool lounger and stay on board. The luncheon was buffet, with a myriad of choices, Indian, Mexican, Stirfry, Roasts, Salads, Italian, Cheeses, Desserts and a separate Icecream counter.
The Adults only Pool area, gym and so forth were a haven for those wanting no interruption - and the kids areas are very well thought out and planned for as well.
The Theatre was stunning - a real majestic experience, and I would love to see one of the Broadway shows or a movie in there. It was easy to imagine making the Solstice my home for the number of nights that a cruise takes, and you would never be bored with so much to do on board, let alone the excellent shore excursions that are available as well.
