The Peninsula Hotels introduces The Peninsula Paris

The Peninsula Hotels Introduces The Peninsula Paris

The Peninsula Hotels has revealed a first glimpse of the much anticipated Peninsula Paris.

The hotel on Avenue Kleber in the 16th arrondissement, will open on 1 August and has been lovingly transformed from an original 1908 grande hotel into a glamorous 21st century palace hotel.

An eclectic collection of French and international art works contrasts contemporary with classic, throughout the 200 guest rooms, 34 suites and elegant public areas.

Today’s international luxury travellers will appreciate the “Peninsula touches” in all spacious guest rooms. Each has a marble bathroom, a self-contained dressing room with walk in closet, a seated dressing table area and spacious luggage storage. The light filled bedroom has grand ceilings, separate desk and sitting area. The décor palette is grey and cream, accented with high gloss lacquered features.

The rooms are the most technologically advanced in the world and each room and suite has several interactive, multi-lingual bedside and desk tablets offering fingertip control of lighting, room temperature, curtains, room service orders. LED touch screen wall panels feature valet call, outside weather information, language and privacy options.

Each room even has a nail varnish dryer, an N’Espresso machine and the Peninsula signature full-length valet box for discreet pick-up and delivery of polished shoes, laundry and dry cleaning.

The soaring ceilings and architecture of The Lobby reflect the glory of the Belle Epoque era and set the scene for all day international dining, including the traditional Peninsula afternoon tea.

The Lobby and Le Bar Kleber (the scene of the signing of the Paris Peace Accord, which brought an end to the Vietnam war) open out through double height windows and doors to Le Terrasse Kleber, a glass enclosed landscaped restaurant for café society to see and be seen throughout the day.

There are six F&B restaurants and bars from the street-side Le Terrasse Kleber to the gourmet Chinese restaurant Lili to the aviation themed rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace L’Oiseau Blanc, which has 360 degree views over Paris and serves contemporary French cuisine.
