MTA Advisors up to speed

Mel Grand Prix Mta

After two long years, Formula One returned to Albert Park and there to watch the spectacle were MTA Mobile Travel Agents Beate Carr and Carol Mills, hosted by Marriott Bonvoy. The advisors enjoyed a full day of hospitality experiencing the Formula 1 Paddock Club and getting up close and rubbing shoulders with celebrities including Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris.

“The atmosphere was electric,” said Beate Carr “And Melbourne put on the perfect day for it. The organisation that goes into an event like this is really something else.”

Tickets for this years’ Australian Grand Prix sold out so quickly that five new grandstands were built to increase capacity. Increased interest in the sport seems to have been driven by Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’ a viral sensation during lockdown that has helped to attract a more diverse demographic. According to race organisers, 40% of this years’ audience were female up from 25% in previous years.
